Come and Surf the Cool New RTI Products at CEDIA EXPO 2011

SHAKOPEE, MN - July 27, 2011 -

The RTiPanel App is Here
The RTiPanel app brings the power of RTI's control solutions to the iPhone®, iPod touch®, and iPad®. With the app installed on any of these popular Apple® products, users will have complete control over any RTI XP remote processor, and all connected electronic systems, from virtually anywhere in the world. RTiPanel raises the bar with unique features including full two-way feedback, dynamic scrolling lists, a completely customizable user interface, and more.

T2-Cs+ Handheld Remote Control
At CEDIA EXPO 2011, RTI will introduce the next generation of its T2-Cs handheld controller: the T2-Cs+. Featuring the same sleek design that made the original so popular, the T2-Cs+ adds a number of powerful features for intuitive control over even the most complex A/V systems. Designed to dazzle, the T2-Cs+ sports a new 2.4-inch brilliant LCD touchscreen for stunning image quality and an increased viewing angle, while 128 MB of Flash memory and a 532-MHz CPU provide a boost in performance. Offering the ultimate in flexibility, the controller features a revolutionary dual-RF platform, which supports both 433-MHz RF for one-way control and 2.4-GHz ZigBee® for bidirectional communication with RTI processors and supported third-party electronics like music servers, lighting, and even Web-based RSS feeds for convenient weather updates. Graphics programming for the T2-Cs+ has also been simplified by allowing fully customizable button sizes.

XP-3 Central Control Processor
With a robust 532-MHz i.MX processor and 128 MB of nonvolatile Flash memory, the XP-3 improves the user's experience by providing a much higher degree of control and automation than a standalone remote control. The processor offers a remarkable value with an impressive feature set that is unmatched in its class — including an astronomical time clock for time-based events, a built-in ZigBee® RF transceiver to allow bidirectional communications with compatible RTI remote controls, and access to the same library of drivers utilized by all RTI XP series processors.

AD-8 Distributed Audio System
For multiroom audio distribution, RTI will be demonstrating its new eight-zone AD-8 distributed audio system. Acting as an extension to RTI's control systems, the AD-8 is a low-cost and very effective solution for distributing music in multiple zones. The system contains both a matrix switching pre-amp and a built-in Cool Power® class D amplifier, achieving amazing flexibility with eight local audio source inputs that can be further enhanced with remote audio sources.

CP-450 and CP-1650 Amplifiers
The perfect complement to RTI's AD-4 and AD-8 distributed audio systems, the new four-channel CP-450 and 16-channel CP-1650 amplifiers extend speaker outputs to accommodate larger installations. Providing 50 W per channel, the CP-450 and CP-1650 feature the same chassis as the AD-4 and AD-8, respectively, and utilize the same Cool Power® technology. Offering rackmount or freestanding installation, the amplifiers feature voltage triggers, RS-232, and IR power control options. In addition, the CP-1650 offers audio input level adjustment on each channel, and bridgeable audio outputs for increased power.

RTiDock
As part of RTI's new audio solutions, the RTiDock features rackmount or desktop options and a host of benefits not found on other iPod® docks, such as the ability to sync with iTunes® over the network through Virtual Sync technology. For simple, intuitive operation, the device offers a full on-screen GUI and video output for navigation through a video display device. A sliding tray provides easy access and discreet storage of the iPod for added convenience and a clean design.
